Objectives of the Department (Max. 4 Bullets)

1. Provide a supportive environment for students to develop critical thinking, research skills, and a passion for zoological sciences.

2. Educate and inspire students and the public about the importance of animals in ecosystems and human society.

3. Foster collaboration with other departments and institutions to address complex biological questions and societal challenges

4. Engage with communities to raise awareness about animal welfare, conservation issues, and ethical considerations in zoology.

2. Every year conducted the ‘SHIVANAND YOGA’ certificate course

3. Organizes “Five days Entrepreneur Workshop on APICULTURE” dated on 6th to 10th December 2023.

4. Department maintained the Bird House for injured birds in collaboration with Gadhinglaj Nagarparishad.
