Establishment : 1984 (UG)& 2005 (PG)

The Department of Sociology at Dr.Ghali College Gadhinglaj. Department established under the headship of Shri.B.B.Waghmode who is well-known intellectual personality. Department has 587 reference books and more than 800 textbooks available in the central library. Departmental enrollment is always high and department has a great tradition of result. Department organizes various activities for students overall development. Our mission is to foster critical thinking, empirical research, and theoretical insights that contribute to the betterment of individuals and communities. We strive to prepare students to be informed, engaged citizens and professionals who can navigate and influence the social world effectively. Our mission is to advance the understanding of social structures, relationships, and processes through rigorous academic inquiry and applied research.
