Introduction of the department:
At the collegiate level, establishing a sports department can greatly improve the whole student experience and aid in their overall development. It gives students a place to stay active, hone their leadership and teamwork abilities, and lead healthy lifestyles. A sports department can also help students, staff, and alumni feel a feeling of belonging, school spirit, and pride. Colleges can support students' varied interests and abilities by providing a range of sports and leisure activities, which will enhance their students' physical and mental health. Since our institution is situated in a rural area, the majority of its students come from low-income backgrounds. Thus, we constantly strive to offer them the best services possible through a variety of means, such as sports equipment, fee concessions, funds, and scholarships for underprivileged students.
